In “It’s More Than Planting Trees, It’s Planting Ideas,” Hunt describes the political philosophy of Wangari Maathai as “power toward”.  In this reaction paper, I’d like you to (1) explain what is meant by “power toward,” (2) show how it was the operative logic of the Freedom Corner demonstration, and (3) explain how this ties into the larger Green Belt Movement and its ecofeminism.
