“Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.” Or so says John Lennon in the lyrics to his song “A Beautiful Boy”. The saying pre-dates this well-known song and is still relevant. This is true, perhaps especially true, when we are leading lives online in addition to all our other responsibilities.
No matter how well we plan, things can go wrong. Power outages, extreme weather, family emergencies, Internet service disruptions, health challenges, and technical malfunctions can happen at the most inconvenient times. Learning online is susceptible to all these situations.
There are also several online resources that can help you overcome any such hiccups. In this assignment, you will identify several university resources that will come in handy as you pursue your academic goals. It also asks you to start the planning process for backup access to these resources and your academic classrooms and work.
