to closely examine the topics and subtopics within Chapters 1 through 5. Then do so again for Chapters 7, 8, 9, 11 & 14.

5. Consider the three ways which the blog mentions dealing with cognitive dissonance throughout your learning experience. Decide which of these you will choose for this course and in 3-4 sentences, state which option you’ve chosen and explain why.
6. Re-read the description for the Analysis & Assessment Assignments in the syllabus. If you used the same two topics you’ve discussed here for your Analysis Assignments, what do you suspect you might learn about (CHOOSE ONE): the influence of scientific literacy and media literacy in proliferating (or assuaging) cognitive dissonance as it influences and affects a. your own and b. the larger public’s – understanding of the political, cultural, and/or social issues surrounding criminology / criminal justice?Discuss your suspicions in 4-6 sentences.
