The purpose of this assignment is to provide you with an opportunity for self-reflection on  the feminist principles and issues that are raised in the course material. It is intended to    act as a further step in understanding oppression and feminist perspectives in social work and social welfare; to go beyond reading and summarizing. It is intended to allow you to   consider your thoughts and voice, and to share your voice regarding the subject matter.  Procedure
Choose two items (e.g. newspaper or magazine images, television, music/song, internet clips, video game content, etc.). Critically analyze  the content. You must comment on the unique message you feel each one individually sends regarding the role and           identity of women/females in society. You will then provide a conclusion with your              opinion/reflection on the impact of your media selections, and media in general, as they   relate to women.
The media items you select must have been released within the last ten years. They may reflect positive or negative images of women; in either case, it is your        critical reflection of the piece that is important.
You must include a picture of each image, or media item, you used in your paper. In the    case of websites, please include the link to each in your references so I can view the media item you are referring to. Ensure each source is correctly referenced as per APA 7th ed.       Length: 3-4pages not inclusive of pictures, references or title page. Please note you must   include a variety of types of items – from any particular media type i.e. magazine, video,  print, song, poster, etc. Also note, all of your media items cannot be from Internet sources. The intent of this exercise is to explore media images from a broad scale including media  items observed in the community; in other words there must be diversity in your selection.
