Instructions
To help you plan your academic journey here at FSCJ, advisors have a tool called myGradPlan. While meeting with your assigned academic advisor, you will discuss your courses and potential degree. Your advisor will complete your Academic Degree Plan (ADP) and you will access your ADP in myGradPlan. Your ADP maps out all of the classes you will need to take to complete your degree. A two-year plan assumes that you are attending college full-time; your plan may extend beyond two years if you are attending part-time. Having a plan saves you time and money and makes timely degree completion more likely!
This assignment includes two parts: Part 1: Pre-Advising Worksheet (You completed this in Module 3.)
Part 2: Academic Degree Plan and Post-Advising WorksheetDownload Post-Advising Worksheet
Develop an Academic Degree Plan (ADP)
With the guidance of an FSCJ Academic Advisor, complete an Academic Degree Plan to determine what courses are needed to fulfill your chosen area of study. Create a charted comprehensive degree plan that includes the potential credits and planned semester(s). Your advisor will have a template for the Academic Degree Plan—request a digital copy of your file to submit for your assignment.
Dual Enrollment Students: Your Dual Enrollment Coordinator should have a template to use for degree planning and be able to provide you with a copy of your degree plan.
Post-Advising Worksheet
During your advising appointment, you will ask the reflection questions you created in the 1st part of the assignment. You will also complete the other questions on the Post-Advising Worksheet and think about your experiences creating a degree plan and having an appointment with advising.
Format
Each question should have a response of 3 to 5 sentences.
Use Times New Roman, 12-point font.
Use professional language.
