Create a 3-minute audio public service announcement (PSA) aimed at encouraging specific healthy behaviors in the target population and relate it back to the health issue.
You need to conduct research about the population and health issue in order to create an effective PSA.
Tailor your PSA carefully to the target population. Think about your word choices. How will you capture people’s attention?
Include in your PSA basic information about the negative effects of asthma and positive impact of the specific healthful behaviors.
Apply at least two motivational interviewing concepts in your PSA to help potential participants overcome ambivalence to the healthy behaviors.
